The Jake Armerding Band We get some great bands on Tuesday nights and this is one of the best. Jake is equally at home on mandolin, fiddle, guitar and vocals, and is as likely to sing a Bob Dylan or Paul Simon song as he is to pull out a bluegrass barn-burner or one of his own songs. The Reunion Band sings time-tested renditions of bluegrass and gospel classics. Their guitar player and lead vocalist, Dave Dillon, toured for many years with Joe Val and the New England Bluegrass Boys. At this year’s Joe Val Memorial Bluegrass Festival in Framingham, MA, February 15 through 17, the Boston Bluegrass Union honored Dave with a Lifetime Achievement Award. COVER CHARGE

There is no Formal Cover Charge on Tuesday nights. Instead, a $7 Voluntary Donation in the Hat is requested from all audience members. All proceeds go to the Feature Band. This is the only way Tuesday night bands are paid.

The Cantab Lounge is located at 738 Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts, on the "west" side of the street at the "north" end of Central Square, two doors down from the 7-Eleven convenience store at the corner of MassAve and Pleasant Street.

PARKING

Parking is on the surrounding streets or in two lots out back. Meters go out of effect at 6:00 PM. In a rush and can't find a spot? Drive around slowly and think pure thoughts.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Take the RedLine to the Central Square stop, and walk two blocks "north" "toward Harvard Square" to find the Cantab on your left. The MassAve/Dudley BUS goes by the door.
